Orana Support Service, Connecting Community Services and Housing Plus have been awarded a combined $600,000 as part of a state government sexual, domestic and family violence infrastructure grant program.
The money will allow Orana Support Service to acquire three two-bedroom units for people in need.
An accessible bathroom and refurbished cottage for families will be made possible for the team at Connecting Community Services.
Housing Plus will get cash to refurbish the Western Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service building. A replacement laundry, audio visual meeting room system and a private entrance/kitchenette will be added to the facility thanks to the additional funding.
